EDTECH AI / LONDON-BASED COMPANY / UK REMOTE

Founding CEO.

The product is ready. Lead the business.
Bring an ambitious Edtech AI venture to market.

Edtech AI MVP ready Intended 10% equity award Remote across the UK Pre-funding: no cash salary

London-based company. Work remotely from anywhere in the UK, with no regular London attendance required. You must have the right to work in the UK.

Apply for the role

Turn a ready MVP
into a growing business.

We're looking for a Founding CEO to lead an Edtech AI venture with the ambition to transform how people learn. The MVP is built, tested, and production-ready. Your opportunity is to turn that technical foundation into customer demand, revenue, and a business with international reach.

You'll lead business strategy, go-to-market, sales, investor engagement, and daily operations. You'll work directly with the technical Founder, who continues product development and scaling, to connect commercial priorities with what customers need.

Product architecture and demonstration environments are shared privately with shortlisted candidates during the selection process.

What you'll lead

  • Shape business strategy and turn it into a focused go-to-market plan.
  • Speak to customers, build commercial partnerships, and lead sales, acquisition, and retention.
  • Lead investor meetings and develop a compelling case for the venture's growth.
  • Manage daily operations, cash forecasts, and commercial performance, adapting the plan as you learn.
  • Build the team as resources permit and establish clear priorities and accountability.
  • Partner with the Founder on product priorities, bringing customer feedback into development.

What you'll bring

You've taken responsibility for commercial or operating results in a startup, technology company, or digital-product business, and you're comfortable moving between strategy and practical execution.

  • Evidence of bringing products to market or improving acquisition, retention, monetization, or operating performance.
  • Experience leading people and making sound decisions with limited resources.
  • Confidence with budgets, cash forecasts, and the economics behind growth.
  • Clear communication, good judgment, and a willingness to change your mind when the evidence changes.
  • The right to work in the UK and the ability to work remotely from within the UK.

Experience in education, digital learning, or AI products would be useful. You do not need to have held a CEO title: general managers, COOs, and commercial leaders with broad operating accountability are welcome to apply.

Working with the Founder

You'll lead the business and its daily commercial execution, working with an active technical Founder who continues to develop and scale the product. Together, you'll shape priorities, challenge assumptions, and turn customer insight into practical improvements.

This is a close working partnership with room for thoughtful disagreement, clear decisions, and shared ambition for the venture.

Compensation & arrangement

Pre-funding. No cash salary.

No cash salary is offered, and no salary accrues, before investor funding or company revenue provides available funds. We aim to introduce a cash salary as soon as funds permit; the amount and start date require separate approval and agreement.

The intended equity award is 10% on an agreed fully diluted grant-date basis, subject to final capitalization and grant documents. It is subject to future dilution.

Equity vests over four years with a one-year cliff: 25% of the award after twelve months, then monthly through month 48. Full award terms will be shared before acceptance.

The company is based in London, and you can work remotely from anywhere in the UK. No regular London attendance is required. Time commitment, working pattern, start date, and the legal engagement will be agreed before work begins.
